The modular design allows Doyle to customize the units to your needs, this means that your spreader is no longer a disposable unit. If in the years to come a part fails or wears out, it can be quickly repaired or replaced. This includes the hopper, frame, axles, and all drive assemblies. Our hoppers are constructed of either 14 ga. 409 stainless steel or 14 ga. 304 stainless steel. Each hopper is laser cut and jig built to precise measurements; this allows every hopper to fit every frame accurately. A chemical baffle is added inside the hopper; this keeps the material from “bridging” and reduces the amount of weight on the conveyor chain. As with all Doyle products, the hopper seams are continuously welded inside and out. The 409 hoppers are metal shot blasted and powder coated white. Doyle's unique bin design is easily removable from the frame; just 4 bolts and special box washers hold the hoppers to the frames. The frame assembly is made of heavy duty mild steel; it was designed to be rugged and twist resistant. Doyle's frame consists of a mild steel tubing base, with heavy duty mild steel corner braces. Doyle's corner braces are laser cut, and jig built, that means that every hopper fits on every frame. All frame surfaces are “boxed” to minimize the areas that corrosive materials can be trapped. This allows the operator to easily wash the unit off after use. The frame is metal shot blasted and powder coated bright blue. Each frame uses tandem Henschen axles, ribbed highway implement tires, adjustable height hitch, and a heavy duty tongue jack. The standard drive system consists of manual engagement assembly, power frame assembly, main gearbox assembly, spinner gearboxes, and spinner dishes. The manual engagement assembly is used to engage and disengage the drive system. The assembly is made of heavy duty mild steel, has CNC machined parts, is metal shot blasted, and powder coated bright blue. An optional hydraulic engagement system is available. The power frame assembly uses a combination of CNC machined parts and laser cut parts, and is jig built. The power frame assembly transfers power from the units tires to the gearbox assembly. The assembly has a uniquely designed power wheel. When engaged, this wheel grips the tire, and produces a slip-free connection, in most cases. If surface moisture or mud is a problem, an optional mud tire and power wheel combination is available for 5 ton unit only. The main gearbox assembly consists of specialized gears and sprockets enclosed in a heavy duty gear case. The gear case is made of 304 stainless steel, when the 304 stainless steel hopper is used. It is constructed of mild steel, when the 409 stainless steel hopper is used. The mild steel gear case is metal shot blasted, and powder coated bright blue. Each gearbox has laser cut parts and is jig assembled, making for a virtually leak proof case. The gearbox is powered by the power frame assembly. Its job is to provide the power to the conveyor chain and the spinner gear boxes. A sight glass is installed in each gearbox; this allows the operator to quickly assess the oil level inside the gearbox. The spinner gearboxes are custom made for Doyle; they have been engineered to be long lasting and reliable, in all operating conditions. The spinner gearboxes are painted bright blue. The twin 19-1/4″ spinner dishes are made of heavy duty mild steel. Each spinner dish has three laser cut blade location holes. Four 304 stainless steel blades are bolted into these holes. The blades shape is specifically designed to throw material consistently and evenly. Each blade can be fine tuned by moving it to any one of the three operating locations. The blade locations have been calibrated by Doyle to provide the most consistent spread rates, with the broadest range of materials.

Capillary Bunkers

Capillary Bunkers

Capillary Bunkers

Increase the longevity of the bunker sand and ensure that it always looks clean and fresh with the Capillary Bunker Liner.  This liner, when used alonside their Wash Box allows for the bunker sand to be washed clean should there ever be any contamination from outside of the bunker (soil, dust, grass etc.). Main Benefits: Decreased Maintenence Consistent Performance Longer Lifespan of Bunker Sand Quick and Easy Installation Eliminates Offers • Washouts • Beautiful bunkers • Flooding • Consistent performance • Soil contamination • Improved playability • Inconsistent moisture levels • Pristine bunker sand • Plugged ball lies • Maintained design integrity • The need to replace sand due to contamination • Extended sand life • Excessive maintenance Testimonial "When we started discussing our renovation options, I had several goals. The first was to solve design problems to make the bunkers less prone to washout and improve maintainability. My second goal was to ensure we sourced high-quality sand pure of impurities and performed well during rain and for play. Improved drainage was also a major component of our project. Finally, I was committed to using a premium bunker liner to improve performance during rain events and prevent contamination. We selected Capillary Concrete to line our bunkers for several reasons. First, it comes as a homogenous mixture, making the product easier and more consistent to install than other options. Second, on the list is the value. Considering all the effort in a project of this scope, I didn't want to cut any corners. Capillary Concrete was the best value in having a premium product that would stand the test of time at an affordable installed cost. Speaking of the test of time- Capillary Concrete came with an unmatched ten-year warranty! After seeing the product installed, I am confident we could easily install the product in-house if we chose to do so. The product support has been fantastic throughout the three phases of our project at Hyperion. We always had a representative on-site to ensure the product was delivered and installed to specifications. Finally, the payoff has been tremendous. A rain event that once took days to restore now takes just a couple of hours. Our members can now have fantastic bunkers to play out of within hours of a thunderstorm rather than all week. My biggest payoff has been improved course conditions since we now have more time to address other details. Finally, if member satisfaction were quantifiable, I'd say the project has paid for itself several times in just a few years." -Jim Sedrel, CGCS Hyperion Field Club Johnston, IA

Ground Driven WFR Broadcast Spreader

Ground Driven WFR Broadcast Spreader

WFR

Hopper capacity of 550 lbs* (350 kgs) Forward speed of 4.5 mph (7.2 km/h) gives an effective spreading width of up to 52' (16 meters) Disengagement for towing, remote rope feed control and side spreading adjustment is standard Ground driven broadcasters are used for spreading fertilizer on golf courses, sports fields, parks or green areas. The W broadcast spreader is an accurate way to apply lime, turf seed, grains and sand. Land wheels are fitted with tractor profile (WGR), or lawn flotation (WFR) tires. All the standard features of the WFR are included and the optional mass feedring and short spoons give a spreading width of up to 18' (6 meters). SAND AND SALT This trailed spreader also does an excellent job spreading sand (top dressing) and/or salt (snow and ice). For sand and/or salt, a special ejector disc with short spoons gives a spreading width of up to 18' (6 meters).  SPREADING SYSTEM The spreading pattern adjustment plate, with section indication, provides a variety of settings to ensure simple operation. DYNAMIC DESIGN Six dynamically designed spoons direct a metered quantity of material to the field, ensuring a constant and precise material feed from the disc to the spoons. EASY TO CLEAN All Lely broadcast spreaders have hoppers that can be removed or tilted up by one or two latches, making for a quick and easy cleaning of the critical feedring assembly area and ejector disk, as well as ensuring a long life for the spreaders. *All weight capacity’s are based upon 46-0-0 granular weight assumption of 48 pounds per cu. ft.
