Fiberglass Tanks
FT
Ligonier plant features two Magnum Venus Pastech (MVP) winders with CNC controls, allowing PT&E to produce fiberglass tanks with a helical (criss-cross) pattern for superior strength and durability. Designed to eliminate the effects of fertilizer & chemical corrosion, providing long-term performance. The final gel coat exterior has the best resistance to ultraviolet light, and will last the entire tank life – no more repainting like mild steel tanks. Fiberglass tanks are 60% lighter and have a higher strength-to-weight ratio than steel tanks. Due to increased longevity and low maintenance, fiberglass tanks are more cost effective than steel tanks.
